Cleo. Melbourne
Level 12, 16 Russell Street,
Melbourne VIC 3000
Middle Eastern Rooftop Restaurant
Open 7 days: 7am - late
If you’re looking for an accessible rooftop in Melbourne with serious city views… Cleo is one to save.
First things first, getting here is easy. Automatic doors on Russell Street lead you through the lobby to lift access straight up to the rooftop.
Once you’re up there, the space really opens up. There’s a mix of seating options (so you’re not stuck with one setup) think standard height tables + chairs, booths or lounges. The layout is pretty easy to move through with enough room for mobility aids. There’s also a retractable roof, because Melbourne weather loves to keep us guessing!
The vibe? Mediterranean inspired, warm, and honestly just a really beautiful space to be in, with skyline views doing a lot of the heavy lifting.
Food and service both delivered. Mediterranean menu done well.
♿️ The accessible toilet on level 12 was out of order when I visited. There is another accessible option in the basement, but it does mean heading back down via lift.
🅿️ Parking
Five accessible spots located across the road on Russell Street - a big win for the city!
Overall, this is a strong option if you’ve been searching for a rooftop that’s actually doable, not just one that looks good online.
Save this for later if long rooftop lunches are on your list!
