Clubhouse Malvern

1290-1292 Malvern Road,

Malvern VIC 3144

I recently stopped by Clubhouse Malvern for lunch and a coffee, and it’s a lovely light filled cafe with a courtyard that’s perfect for a catch up!

The entrance on Malvern Road is step-free, although there is quite a large lip at the doorway. I needed a bit of a run up on my scooter to get over it, so it’s something to be aware of.

Inside, the cafe is split into two dining spaces with a mix of standard height tables, chairs with backrests and bench seating. The layout felt spacious enough for prams, wheelchairs and mobility aids, with a number of tables that offered enough room to comfortably pull up alongside. There’s also a small courtyard out the back.

There’s an accessible toilet at the back with grab rails and a baby change table, although the change table does make the space a little tighter to manoeuvre in.

Parking was the trickiest part. I didn’t come across any accessible parking spots nearby, so I ended up using regular street parking on Malvern Road.

The food and coffee both hit the spot, making Clubhouse Malvern an easy one to recommend.
